New Video: Heptaedium "Till The Seventh Snake Eat Their Empty Shell"

I'm a pretty honest type of fellow, so, when a press release came across my make-believe desk using the term "math metal", I was frightened to my very core. While I have heard said term used in the past and still have no fucking clue what it really entails, I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it. How's that for jumping to conclusions? But, as the elders say, "variety is the spice of life", so I clicked the link.

What I got was a pleasant surprise and nothing what I was expecting. Call my wife and tell her, for once, I was wrong about something. Heptaedium just recently released a video of their single "Till The Seventh Snake Eat Their Empty Shell". Let me stop right here and say that the title of the song alone makes it pretty fucking interesting. Best way to describe it is Meshuggah, Mnemic, bands along those lines. Basically, it's heavy and angry, just the way I like it.

The track was taken from their upcoming album ''The Great Herald Of Misery'' (another great title) and will be out May 25th, 2018 via Apathia Records.

So who is Heptaedium? Don't really know other than to tell you it's a one-man project from France consisting of Florent Lambert, a "musical experimentalist" and it is his fourth release. I went digging for some more clues but came up short (mostly because I'm lazy and have a short attention span). It does, however, make me want to hear more of ''The Great Herald Of Misery''.

Give it a listen and let us know what you think. You can always check the band out on the Heptaedium Bandcamp Page. You can also listen to another single "Watch Me Break The Neck Of The Hypocrites". This dude should start a business just coming up with bad ass titles, cause he's crushing it.
